Fredrick Starks

Fredrick Starks is a native of Abilene Texas where he obeyed the gospel in 1976 at the Abilene Christian College church of Christ.

Upon graduating from high school Fred served in the U.S. Army for six years. He moved to San Antonio in 1993 and began preaching the gospel in 1997.

Fredrick served as the Youth Minister at the Laurel Street church of Christ from 1997-2005. In 2005, Brother Starks accepted the work at the Ft. Sam Houston church of Christ as the Co-Minister, and in 2008 became the full-time Minister. Fred has spoken on several lectureships and Gospel Meetings.

Fredrick has been married to his wife Karen for 24 years and they have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

Fredrick is a graduate of the Sunset International Bible Institute.

 

Samuel Moore, Jr.

Assistant Minister 

Sam Moore was born in Shreveport Louisiana upon graduating from High School Sam joined the U.S. Military where he served for 28 years.

He was baptized into Christ in 2001 and has been preaching for 15 years.

Sam has been married to Crystal for 32 years and they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren

Sam preaches on a scheduled circuit of congregations throughout the year and serves as the Outreach Minister and on the Benevolence Committee.
